TRO (gen)
Trofinin je protein kojim je kod ljudi kodiran genom TRO.[5][6][7]
Ovaj gen kodira membranski protein koji posreduje apikalnu adheziju ćelija između trofoblastnih ćelija i lumenskih epitel nih ćelija endometrija i upleten je u početno vezanje tokom proces implantacije embriona. Povezan je sa porodicom gena MAGED sa sličnošću sekvenci i lokacijom hromosoma. Za njega je pronađeno je više varijanti alternativno prerađenih transkripta; međutim, priroda nekih varijanti u punoj dužini nije definirana.[7]
