- (If mentioning commercial software breaks rules, please delete this comment or if discussion better elsewhere do move it). I've used Emulso on an iPad (for video recorded on camera not recorded on iPad) and it worked well. I now do everything in Final Cut Pro X but have yet to experiment with stabilisers (my video is using fixed mounts) - there is stabilisation within the software built-in, plus I believe 3rd party plug-ins but I've only ever used Emulso on iPad. - @Rhododendrites stabilized, there are two versions(the file commit history). The one with the border will probably appear higher quality if viewed on same screen but the border removal was lossless and the apparent(seeming real or true, but not necessarily so.) quality degradation is a result of less viewable(non-black) pixels per area on the output device when compared with the version that has black-borders.
