English: Bryan Hill Elementary School is located in the College Hill neighborhood where parents, teachers, students, and community partners are committed to excellence in education. The Bryan Hill Elementary School is located in the northeastern quadrant of the city. The school boundaries are Highway 70, North; Penrose, South; Grand, East; and College, West. The school provides services to students from Preschool through fifth grade.
Bryan Hill is named after Dr. John Gano Bryan, who resided at 1511 East Grand. He was a physician who lived in the area during the early 1800s. Dr. Bryan was interested in education and was an early advocate for our public school system. Several streets surrounding the school were named after his children.https://www.slps.org/domain/250 |
