Please change the name of this category to "East German gymnastics championships 1950" (with a capital "G") because Germany is a place and therefore, is spelled with a capital "G". Besides that, nine other categories in the "East German gymnastics championships" (out of ninteen total) have the same typo so I also ask you to please changes those as well. Thanks in advance. 93.107.205.209 22:16, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

- In generally the term "East German" isn't correct. In stead of this we should use "German Democratic Republic". GeorgHH • talk 18:48, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Rename to Category:German Democratic Republic Championships in Gymnastics 1950 (and so on). @Estopedist1 and GeorgHH: Agreed that 'East German' should be replaced with 'German Democratic Republic' (as Category:East Germany redirects to Category:German Democratic Republic). The name in German is DDR-Meisterschaften im Turnen 1950, so hence 'Championships in Gymnastics' (capitalized as such) is more appropriate translation than lower case 'gymnastics championships' (they were not just some gymnastics championships in 1950, they were the gymnastics championships for the DDR in 1950). "Slavonic" isn't a language, but a language family. Contents should be distributed into the existing individual-language categories under Category:Documents by language Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:37, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Future Perfect at Sunrise: It's a subcategory of Category:Church Slavonic language. Would Category:Church Slavonic documents be useful? -- Themightyquill (talk) 08:27, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
- That would work, I suppose, though probably it should be Category:Documents in Church Slavonic, to be more in line with others in that parent category. We may still need to sift through the actual files to see how many are mislabelled or pure hoaxes, as many of them were also uploaded by the same abuser. Fut.Perf. ☼ 08:42, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
Handling categorization of bumps/humps/rumble strips/speed tables is a bit problematic from what I see.
People put every kind of thing into "speed bump" rather than "vertical deflection device" (what is not surprising at all).
Though it makes harder to find images of actual speed bumps (rather than speed tables etc).
Maybe turn Category:Speed bumps into a redirect to Category:Vertical deflection devices?
And create some new category like "Narrow vertical deflection device" so that only actually properly categorized media will end there? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 10:36, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
