This image, claimed own work, appears to have come from http://desencyclopedie.wikia.com/wiki/Fichier:String.jpg where a Wikia editor claims (in French) that it is "a public domain image modified by the user" . Is this licensing sufficient since the authorship is claimed by different persons. What was the licensing of the original image and where did it come from ? --Sandahl (talk) 00:43, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

 Keep The Wikia image was uploaded over 10 months after the Commons image (Nov 2006 vs. Jan 2006). Plus the Wikia uploader doesn't seem to claim to be the author, just that he/she modified a PD image. Quality issues aside (note the jagged edges on the right arm for instance), I don't see a clear authorship issue. —/Mendaliv/2¢/Δ's/ 19:13, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
