Even when the postcard of then-Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip at their wedding is out of copyright in the UK, the URAA restored its US copyright in 1996, the time when it was still copyrighted in the UK. George Ho (talk) 20:15, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Ebay is not the most reliable source either. If it were just the URAA, I'd vote keep since URAA cannot be the only reason for deletion. I'd say COM:PCP would have us delete since there seems to be reasonable doubt that this is actually expired in the UK. Abzeronow (talk) 21:06, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But what about what {{Not-PD-US-URAA}} says, Abzeronow: "Images whose copyright was restored in the U.S. by the URAA are no longer accepted at Wikimedia Commons"? George Ho (talk) 21:46, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There were attempts, Celia, soon after the 2014 discussion, but then they got reverted. George Ho (talk) 18:19, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Keep I agree with Celia Homeford above. I am the uploader. Re the comment by Abzeronow, Ebay is merely the source of the image, and not the source of anything else in the context of this discussion. i have found no evidence for doubt that the copyright has expired in the UK. I have done the usual searches, bearing in mind that the author is unknown. Publishers of postcards were not usually the authors of the photographs, and the records of most postcard publishers of that era are no longer available. Deleted: Commons policy is to delete content not in the public domain in the US. Failure to enforce this policy globally is not grounds to continue to upload said content. --Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 16:38, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
