Well, the status of this image is certainly uncertain. The image represents an undercover agent of the Spanish police, Mikel Lejarza, into the terrorist group ETA during the last years of Franco's dictatorship. Lejarza was eventually discovered but managed to run away, remaining hidden since then. The photographs in the image come from the leaflets and banners that ETA and its environment published in order to capture Lejarza. There is no information regarding the source of the photographs. They could be photographs taken by ETA in itself or coming from the police or, well, nobody knows. According to Spanish legislation, even if anonymous, works does not pass to the public domain until seventy years from publication. Therefore, I don't really know what to do with this image. Finally, the title of the image (Fascist killer) is definitely inappropriate. Opinions? - Delete Even if it was used by an illegalorganisation, we can't be positive that the image was "legally" used (which I doubt, anywasy. --User:G.dallorto 23:34, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. As Ecemaml says, we don´t know where the image comes from, it could have been taken by the police or ETA itsel. It´s also probably not in the public domain. Manwë 12:30, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- Delete I agree with the reasons given. Anna 18:34, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
