You own the card, but you do not own the copyright. These are two different things. How old is it, it may be free, if it is old enough. // Vous possédez la carte, mais vous ne possédez pas le copyright. Ce sont deux choses différentes. Quel âge a la carte, et la photographie? Merci de votre explication. La carte postale a plus de 90 ans, elle a été écrite le 9 novembre 1914. Elle est d'ailleurs touchante car c'est un militaire qui écrit à sa mère et à sa soeur pour leur annoncer son départ pour le front et leur demande de se souvenir de lui si il devait ne pas revenir....J'espère que j'ai bien le droit d'utiliser cette carte. If the author of the image is not known, then the copyright has expired by now. In that case, {{Anonymous-EU}} can be used. If the author is known, and has been dead for more than 70 years, {{PD-old}} can be used. --rimshottalk 18:47, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
