Description
Deutsch: Links: Der Brief von Berghaus (Dezember 1915) weist darauf hin, dass die internen Codes für die Namen der osmanischen Regierungsmitglieder (hier für Cemal Pascha) sich nach Absprache unter Berghaus und Blohm & Voss regelmäßig änderten. Rechts: Berghaus unterrichtet Blohm & Voss (Juli 1916) über den Verlauf der Verhandlungen über ein geplantes Werftprojekt und die Unterredungen u.a. mit Enver und Talât Pascha. Die Namen der erwähnten Regierungsmitglieder aber auch die der deutschen Persönlichkeiten und Firmen sind „chiffriert“
English: Left: The letter from Berghaus (December 1915) indicates that the internal codes for the names of the Ottoman government members (here for Cemal Pascha) changed regularly after consultation between Berghaus and Blohm & Voss. Right: Berghaus informs Blohm & Voss (July 1916) about the course of negotiations on a planned shipyard project and the discussions with Enver and Talât Pascha, among others. The names of the above-mentioned government members as well as those of German personalities and companies are “encrypted”
