Por motivo do jubileu científico de Paulo de Frontin, seus amigos e admiradores promoveram-lhe diversas homenagens, aproveitando para isso a data do seu aniversário natalício, 17 de setembro de 1925. Assim, ofereceram ao grande engenheiro um álbum tendo mais de 200 fotografias de suas obras, e inauguraram seu busto na Praça Floriano.
