Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de Almaguer (Cauca).

"Está dividido en cuatro partes: en las dos superiores con un fondo azul sobresalen dos lingotes de oro, símbolo de las grandes riquezas del territorio, y a la vez muestran las divergencias entre los conquistadores por la ambición del precioso metal. En la parte inferior izquierda se encuentran las hermosas montañas del nudo andino, en cuyas estribaciones se sitúa la población; sobre el suelo se ven espigas, símbolo de la gran producción agrícola. En la parte inferior derecha sobre un fondo rojo, se observa una espada que recuerda ALMAGUERRERA de los almaguereños. En la parte superior se encuentra una coraza española, adornada con plumas y hojas que simboliza la excelsa y basta naturaleza. Enmarca el escudo una cinta color rojo en la que se lee "A LA MUY NOBLE Y MUY LEAL CIUDAD SAN LUIS DE ALMAGUER"."
