After coming with his parents to the new world heattended Myers Commercial College of Milwaukee for a short time and then entered thestore with his father, under whose direction he received his preliminary businesstraining. In 1912 Mr.Reel began the publication of a paper which he called The Progressive, a tradejournal issued in the interests of the fur trapper and wool grow-er. He made the littlemagazine what its name implied—a progressive organ of the trades represented, givingto the public most interesting matter concerning the wool and fur market. In 1914,with the assistance of his sister, Mr. Reel opened a retail house on Grand avenue,where he is now situated. He has the largest specialty store of the kind in the countryand his place is altogether unique in that his customers are served only in individualbooths or rooms. The spirit that has always actuated Mr. Reel was strongly manifest in the factthat when a young man, in association with a number of other young men, he decidedthat he wished to study
