Description
English: Connecting kitchen air extractor to electricity in apartment block.
  • What problem was there - the socket was installed too close to the furniture and I can't make any cable connection to it.
  • How I solved that problem? I put out the socket from a hole and put there round juncion box with diameter 65mm. That way I made reservation for connecting air extractor and furniture backlight. But for washing machine I put external double-socket 15cm below it's old place. As you can see on photo, I choose 90-degree level for external socket. The same time, junction box for air extractor and backlight is temporary covered to avoid getting dust inside.
  • Why external socket? Cause for installing internal socket it's need to drill new hole with diameter 65...67mm, but as wall is made of concrete, it takes approximately 3 hours to make new hole for internal socket and lot of loud noise, which may disturbs neighbours from nearest apartments. For installing external socket, it's need only 10 minutes and 4 small holes for screws.
