Svenska: Daoistisk offerskulptur föreställande Laozi, enligt traditionen den filosofiska daoismens grundare och författare till Daodejing (Boken om vägen). På varje sida om Laozi står en mindre figur i fotsida dräkt. Vid deras fötter syns väktarlejon, delvis förstörda.
På skulpturens baksida finns en inskription från Yuan-dynastin, 1279-1368. Gulvit kalksten. Från området kring Xian i provinsen Shaanix. Norra Wei-dynastin, 500-tal. NMOK 005.English: Daoist sacrificial sculpture depicting Laozi, according to tradition philosophical daoisms founder and the author of Daodejing (Book of the way). On every side of Laozi stands a smaller figure. At their feet, the lionguard can be seen.
On the sculptures back there is an inscription from the Yuan-dynasty, 1279-1368. Yellow-white limestone. From the area around Xian in the province Shaanix, China. Northern Wei dynasty, 6th century. NMOK 005.
