Description
English: Tasting room in the wine cave of Rutherford Hill Winery in Napa County, California. Founded in 1972, the winery is among the pioneers of growing Merlot grapes in Napa Valley. The wine cave of Rutherford Hill Winery is the largest of its kind in Napa Valley. While the first cave at Rutherford Hill was excavated from 1984 to 1986, a second “Cave for Special Events” was excavated between 1986 and 1989. The image shows a separate tasting room which is part of the second cave.
