English: Romanesque "Candlestick of Milano" or "of Jerusalem" from the 12th century. According to tradition the candlestick was stolen by Bohemian (Czech) Army in 1158 during the Siege of Milano led by Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa and Vladislav I, King of Bohemia. Since that time it has been kept in St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. |
