English: This temple reflects clear ideas about the conflict between Hatshepsut, and her nephew and son in law, Thutmose III, since many of her statues were destroyed, and the followers of Thutmose III damaged most of her Cartouches, after the mysterious death of the queen. There are a complex of mortuary temples and tombs located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the city of Luxor, Egypt.
