Description
English: Rear Adm. Cynthia Thebaud, commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific gives remarks during a ceremony on board U.S. Seventh Fleet's flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) in Hong Kong, March 12. Thebaud is on stage with honored guests, from the left, Maj. Gen. Dong Chao, deputy commander of the People's Liberation Army garrison Hong Kong; Mr. Hu Jianzhong, deputy commissioner, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office Hong Kong; and Tom Cooney, acting consul general, U.S. Consulate General's Office Hong Kong. Blue Ridge and embarked 7th Fleet staff are currently on patrol operating forward, building maritime partnerships and conducting security and stability operations.
