Description GULF OF ADEN (Dec. 14, 2014) - Capt. Stephen McKone, incoming commander, Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) Five, left, reports to Maj. Gen. Carl E. Mundy III, Commander, Task Force (CTF) 51, during a routine change of command ceremony held in the foc’sle of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
