Pysgodyn sy'n byw yn y môr ac sy'n perthyn i deulu'r Gobiidae ydy'r Gobi'r Tywod sy'n enw gwrywaidd; lluosog: gobïod y tywod (Lladin: Pomatoschistus minutus; Saesneg: Sand goby).

Mae ei diriogaeth yn cynnwys Ewrop, y Môr Du a'r Môr Baltig ac mae i'w ganfod ym Môr y Gogledd ac arfordir Cymru.
