Vorlage:Currentevent Vorlage:Infobox civilian attack On September 4, 2024, a shooting occurred at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, northeast of Atlanta.[1] Georgia State Police responded to the scene with a heavy police presence, and five ambulances were reported at the scene.[2] Two people were killed, and four were injured.[3]
Governor Brian Kemp directed all available state resources to assist at the scene of the shooting.[4]
