The reason why is because a main website cannot stand on its own because it needs notability to be established by outside sources such as magazines, news sources, and reliable media. A Facebook page is not reliable either, since anyone can make one up and we want the notability of the page to be established first. Lastly, the eBay store will make it seem as [[WP:SPAM|spam]] in an article, since it will seem you are promoting the website through a Wikipedia page. Wikipedia does not endorse advertisement through the article pages.
