It is whitish or dirty yellow in color, with a broad convex [[convexpileus (mycology)|cap]] cap {{convert|5-15mm|–|15|mm|in|1|abbr=on}} in diameter. The stalk[[stipe (mycology)|stipe]] is covered with a thick, slippery slime layer.
