Asad was born in 1985; he is the son of [[Fazal-ur-Rehman (politician)|Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman]], former [[Leader of the Opposition (Pakistan)|Leader of Opposition]] & currentand [[President (corporate title)|President]] of [[Pakistan Democratic Movement]], and grandson of [[Mufti Mahmood]], former [[Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa|Chief Minister of NWFP]] (now [[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]]).

He graduated from [[Jamia Qasim Ul Uloom|Jamia Qasim ul Uloom]] in 2010 and has also taught in it as a lecturer.
