The passenger service of the [[Dry Creek-Port Adelaide railway line]], with stations at Wingfield, North Arm Road, Eastern Parade, Grand Junction Road, and [[Rosewater railway station|Rosewater]], was closed on 27–29 May 1987 (with [[Port Dock railway station|Port Dock]] having closed in September 1981). Similarly, the former [[Northfield railway line]] headed east from Dry Creek to the [[Cavan railway station, Adelaide|Cavan]], [[Pooraka railway station|Pooraka]], [[Northfield railway station, Adelaide|Northfield]], and [[Stockade railway station|Stockade]] stations.
