: Hi, StephenMacky1. How about Živić, T., & Vranješ, A. (2017). Josip Juraj Strossmayer: A Statesman of Culture. Култура/Culture, 6(14), 136-144 ISSN 1857-7725: However, the polemics about the instigation of the Miladinov brothers’ miscellany have continued in the 20th century, since the 1983 Macedonian edition as the Collection of the Miladinov Brothers, reprinted in Skopje, removed every single “Bulgarian” reference therefrom. A republishing of the original in the year 2000 tried to restrain the passions but only triggered a vigorous protest by the Macedonian historians. Eventually, the Macedonian State Archive, financed by the Soros Foundation, displayed a Xerox copy thereof, having previously meticulously cut off the adjective “Bulgarian,” so the cover page simple read Folk Songs. ::I'll ask for feedback from WP:RSN regarding the reliability of the source currently in the article (since it's present in another article too), another source and this source about Strossmayer. StephenMacky1 (talk) 17:52, 14 June 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia should be ashamed of itself for allowing the existence of this article
It's incredible that the Wikipedia community would allow an article like this to exist. You can literally write a similar article for any nation. Why not "historiography of Germany"? "historiography of France"? And are we to believe that Greek, Bulgarian, Albanian, and other Balkan historiographies are not equally politicized and subjective? The historiography of any nation is subjective and highly politicized. The whole purpose of this article is to enable a certain faction of Bulgarian and Greek activists to undermine the legitimacy of Macedonian identity. Shame on the Wikipedia community for turning a blind eye to this.

Do we allow Chinese Nationals to create Wikipedia articles about "the historiography of Taiwan"? Would we allow Russian editors to create a Wikipedia article about "the historiography of Ukraine"? Would we allow neo-Nazis and Islamic fundamentalists to write a Wikipedia about "the historiography of Israel"? Would we allow the most radical Israeli Likudnik radicals to write the "historiography of Palestine"? Are Serbian nationalists allowed to write the "historiography of Croatia" or the "historiography of Bosnia" or the "historiography of Kosovo"? Are Albanian, Croatian, and Bulgarian nationalists allowed to write "the historiography of Serbia? Are White supremacists allowed to write "the historiography of Africa" or "the historiography of African-Americans"? Are Black Hebrew Israelites or Black power activists allowed to write "the historiography of White people" or "the historiography of Israel"? There are so many contested territories, identities, and histories, that it is disgusting that Wikipedia would allow one to be singled out in this way. What's next Wikipedia?
