Currently, WYMT, [[Christian television]] stations [[WLJC-TV]] in [[Beattyville, Kentucky|Beattyville]] (owned by Hour of Harvest, Inc.) and [[WAGV]]-TV in [[Harlan, Kentucky|Harlan]] (a satellite of [[WLFG]]-TV in [[Grundy, Virginia]]), and [[Kentucky Educational Television]] satellites WKHA in [[Hazard, Kentucky|Hazard]] and WKPI in [[Pikeville, Kentucky|Pikeville]] are the only full-power stations that can be received over-the-air in much of this region. In addition, [[WOBZ-LP]] is a low-power station seving the [[London, Kentucky]] area. There are also several public access cable channels that serve the region.
NOTE: WYMT to start a 4 PM weekly newscast the first part of Sept. of 2008 no word on if the 6 PM newscast will remain
