Grace was one of the few stunt pilots who died of old age. He was the author of three books: ''Squadron of Death'', ''Crash Pilot'' and ''Visibility Unlimited''. Films that he appeared in include ''[[Sky Bride]]'', ''[[The Lost Squadron]]'', and ''[[Wings (film)|Wings]]''. he served in both [[world war]]s, bombing [[Germany]], and was a [[B-17 Flying Fortress]] co-pilot with the [[486th Bombardment Group, Heavy|486th Bombardment Group]]. He was married to Crystine Francis Malstrom, a stage actress who appeared in ''Abie's Irish Rose''.
