Dennis Brown I had no interest in getting "under your skin". It's you and your fellow admins who got under my skin. So well done. It doesn't matter anymore. — lfdder 22:58, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

:I wish you'd change your mind. Some of us will miss you. Your knowledge and opinions are valuable. CorinneSD (talk) 01:19, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
:: I suppose that these pale in comparison to my transgressions. So much that, I've been blocked for a whole month without the blocking admin as much as visiting my talk page. So much does this project distrust me that they block from editing every IP I log on from. We must assume good faith, but only when it's convenient for the ruling elite. Blocked users are the lowest of scum, after all. I've really no interest in contributing to a project that follows authoritarian principles any longer. But thanks for your kind words. — lfdder 13:37, 8 May 2014 (UTC)

Very unfortunate lfdder. I must also say that I always enjoyed your comments and value your opinions in many ways. It would be great if you reconsider your decision and you'll stay on Wiki, because people like you are very much needed here. :::No. Your knowledge and opinions do not "pale in comparison" to your transgressions. Remember that Wikipedia is comprised of many editors, many more than are admins. You do not know how many editors have learned from your edits and comments and appreciate your contributions. Try not to take this block by one admin too personally. Look at it as an opportunity to learn something. If you want to take the time, go back through the edits that led to this, and think about what you could have done differently at any point along the way. I have found that when I have an exchange with an editor I find difficult, the best thing to do is just to leave it alone and stop editing that particular article for a while. The other editor may leave it alone, too. You could also think about more diplomatic ways to express disagreement, even strong disagreement. (An argument that is presented clearly and logically and with good support has a much better chance of persuading another editor than hyperbole and invective.) As you can see, in such a short time, two editors -- myself and Jaqeli -- have tried to persuade you to change your mind about retiring. We wouldn't do that if we didn't really value your opinions. Again, we would miss you and your participation. Please continue being part of the team. (You could take this time to plant a vegetable garden.) ::::Thanks. (my thank button is gone, so I can't thank you that way.) I'm gonna blank this page after this 'cause I really don't to have anything to do with any of this anymore. — lfdder 19:54, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
