The '''Shanghai Stadium''' (上海体育场) is a multi-use [[stadium]] in [[Shanghai]], [[People's Republic of China|China]] and is one of the largest stadiums in the world. It is currently used mostly for [[football (soccer)|football]] matches. The stadium was built in [[1997]] when the 8th National Games of People's Republic of China was held in Shanghai. It can holds about 80,000 people, so it also called "80,000 people's Staidum"(八万人体育场).
