Line 7:
Laser bonding has been achieved by Nd:YAG, CO2 laser, Fiber laser and Diode-pumped solid-state laser and can be accomplished using other forms of radiant energy.

Laser bonding technology was licensed by TherMark LLC to Ferro Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio in 2004 as part of a settlement to long-standing litigation and is often referred to as "CerMark', "CerMarked", "CerMarking", "TherMark", "TherMarked" or "CerMarkingTherMarking". "CerMark" is a registered trademark of the Ferro Corporation, Cleveland Ohio, USA. This trademark, like Xerox, has become synonymous with the laser bonding process.
