Çıldıran (Childiran) or Chldran (Template:Lang-hy) is a village de facto in the Martakert Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh, de jure in the Kalbajar District of Azerbaijan. The village had an Azerbaijani-majority population prior to their explusion during the First Nagorno-Karabakh war.[2]

Etymology
The name Chldran is of Persian origin.[3]
History
During the Soviet period, the village was a part of the Mardakert District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.
Economy and culture
The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. As of 2015, the village has a municipality building, a secondary school, nine shops and an aid station.[1]
Demographics
The village had an ethnic Armenian-majority population of 467 inhabitants in 2005,[4] and 528 inhabitants in 2015.[1]
