About general notability

In Finland there is no such thing as butter salt. It it very useful for foreigners to be able to check somewhere for these esoteric American food items that are constantly referenced in popular culture. -- 62.71.212.7 (talk) 21:38, 7 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

no where else but fucking america would have shit like this, I hardly think its worth its own article122.58.124.6 (talk) 03:14, 7 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Section on dairy salt is irrelevant

The introduction of the article clearly references a completely different product from that introduced in the section "Use in dairy." Suggest removing section altogether and adding a distinguish for "dairy salt." Tranquilled (talk) 03:19, 5 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This. This is also called "article hijack". It's an attempt to make an article into a kind of DB/article hybrid, which is not allowed. Since this has been decried since 2017 (five years) and there is already a standalone article about dairy salt, I am removing the second part of the article.
