Less can be more
When I started an effort to raise Vitamin A to Good Article status, I first cut length by 20% and number of refs by more than 30%, then built it up. Some articles need to be shorter. David notMD (talk) 13:06, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- Wow… well I guess that’s right Cornishrom20 (talk) 13:13, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- But seriously? Vitamin A? Cornishrom20 (talk) 13:27, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- The article honestly looks really good to be honest though, you did a good job Cornishrom20 (talk) 13:28, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- Medical/health articles have a high standard for references explained at WP:MEDRS. A lot of what was at Vitamin A (and the other 10 of 13 vitamin articles I have raised to GA) were for in vitro studies, animal trials, human case studies and human clinical trials. Even the last does not meet MEDRS, only reviews, systematic reviews and meta-analyses of multiple human trials. David notMD (talk) 22:06, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
