Wortham High School is a 1A high school located in Wortham, Texas (USA) and is part of the Wortham Independent School District which serves students in far western Freestone County. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[2]

Notable Alumnus

Leonard Davis - Guard for NFL San Francisco 49ers who are playing in Super Bowl XLVII on Feb 3, 2013. [4] [5] Has also played for the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions. In 1997, led Wortham High School to State 1A Title in Boys Basketball.
