Disambiguation link notification for November 30
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Union City, Indiana, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Twin city (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Discussion about reversion by NYBrook098
User NYBrook098, to whom you gave revert powers, reverted one of my edits as nonconstructive, and then deleted without comment my post on their talk page justifying why it was constructive, my reversion of their deletion of that post, and my subsequent post complaining about their deleting my posts without comment. This strikes me as a clear abuse of power. Osberend (talk) 04:33, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, at which article was the revert?– Gilliam (talk) 04:37, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- He is referring to Crossplay, where the term "gendermess" is in the "Genderplay cosplay" section used and thinks that "genderf***" is better. However, I feel the use of the curse word is inappropriate, and I do not want any arguments on my talk page either, which I why I deleted it in the first place. NYBrook098 (talk) 04:44, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- WP:NOTCENSORED The established term genderfuck, which unlike gendermess actually has a Wikipedia page (and over 13 times as many results on Google) was the original one, which someone (you?) decided to euphemize, thereby making the sentence it appears in nonsensical. Also, if you don't want arguments on your talk page, you have no business using a tool which invites people to respond on your talk page if they disagree with your reversions. Osberend (talk) 04:50, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation. I wouldn't worry, as an anonymous edit containing the word "fuck" could be mistaken for vandalism, even if it wasn't.– Gilliam (talk) 04:53, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, it was a misunderstanding. And Osberend, I am not at liberty to discuss these matters, as I am NOT an administrator. And it seems that another anonymous IP address edited it before you did, so that may have added to the confusion. If you disagree, please be more specific in the future as to what you are referring to. Also, feel free to reedit Crossplay if you feel the need to. NYBrook098 (talk) 04:59, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rhine Creek (Minnesota)
Hello Gilliam,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rhine Creek (Minnesota) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. FiendYT (talk) 06:02, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
Creation Of Geographical Articles
Hey Gilliam! How do you create so many geographical articles so fast? How do you even find the creeks and rivers in the first place? I want to help with the geographical points too. FiendYT (talk) 06:13, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
A bowl of strawberries for you!
Many thanks for removing vandalism from my talk page. Enjoy!! Denisarona (talk) 07:31, 4 December 2015 (UTC) |

Extend block of Rahmandon to his IP 119.160.119.197
Hello. I fully agree with your block of Rahmandon on 8 December 2015. Please also consider blocking IP 119.160.119.197, which performed 3 further edits on 8 December, all of which I've reverted, all of which were unacceptable vandalism, all of which look 100% like they originated from the same person. ◃Λmniarix▹ (talk) 11:29, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

Gilliam Help!
Ok, hello gilliam. There is this guy called 85.233.61.35 who has been a real jerk and I am requesting a block. Click onto MY talk page, scroll down to the bottom, and you will find a link to HIS talk page. You will find rudeness from another galaxy. I hope you can block this time-wasting IP. Thanks! 50.179.194.186 (talk) 22:47, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
Rangers 1940 drought
You have repeatedly edited my addition to the Rangers' 1994 Stanley Cup championship. I've added the conclusion that the Rangers' win finally put an end to the "1940" chant that had signified their long champion draught. This is not editorializing - the chant was indeed extremely common as it was the longest championship draught in sports: http://espn.go.com/classic/s/moment010607_rangers.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mkraines (talk • contribs) 21:06, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Concerning the IP Vandal You Just Blocked
Hi, just to let you know, the IP vandal you just blocked for vandalizing List of fictional cats in animation and List of fictional wolves is a recurring anonymous vandal who uses a morphing IP, and is obsessed with making really inane fancruft identifications and edit-wars incessantly to protect its edits. The best way to thwart it, in my experience, is to semi-protect the pages it targets, and re-protect them as needed.--Mr Fink (talk) 23:09, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will not hesitate to semi-protect if I see a coordinated attack.– Gilliam (talk) 23:13, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- Understood.--Mr Fink (talk) 23:14, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
