Photo licensing

Hello, the photo you mentioned was uploaded under specific permission for Wikipedia's use, as you noted. However, Wikipedia's policies do not permit us to use images (or other content) that is licensed specifically and only to Wikipedia -- one of the important goals of our project is to make/acquire content that can be reused by other projects, be they other encyclopedias, handheld devices, or similar. Any content licensed only for Wikipedia and not available for further reuse runs contrary to those goals, and as a result our policies do not permit us to keep such images. If you can get the photo released under a general open license so that anyone can use it, we can accept it (although many photographers may be reluctant to permit such).
