Beschafft wurde es unter Konrad II. (zwischen 1024 und 1039). English: From left to right: The Heilige Lanze (Holy Lance), the Reichskreuz ("imperial cross"), and the Kreuzpartikel (fragment of a the True Cross). In addition to a Christian symbol of victory, the Reichskreuz was also a national emblem of the Holy Roman Empire and, conveniently, a reliquary for the Holy Lance and the Kreuzpartikel. It was acquired under Conrad II (between 1024 and 1039). |
