"M(iti)R Th(eo)Y, I(esou)C ChristoC" The icon shows the Virgin Mary up to the waist holding Christ with her left hand. Christ leans towards her and rests with both hands on his mother's right hand, while at the same time he turns his head and looks back and up at the angel who is depicted half-length and carries the cross of his passion. Another angel with the lance and the cup is also represented half-length on the other side.

"Μ(ήτη)Ρ Θ(εο)Υ, Ι(ησού)C Χ(ριστό)C" Στην εικόνα παριστάνεται η Παναγία μέχρι τη μέση που κρατεί τον Χριστό με το αριστερό της χέρι . Ο Χριστός γέρνει προς το μέρος της και στηρίζεται με τα δύο του χέρια στο δεξί χέρι της μητέρας του, ενώ παράλληλα στρέφει το κεφάλι και κοιτάζει προς τα πίσω και ψηλά, τον άγγελο που εικονίζεται ημίσωμος και φέρει τον σταυρό του πάθους του. ΄Άλλος ένας άγγελος με τη λόγχη και το ποτήριο παριστάνεται επίσης ημίσωμος από την άλλη πλευρά.
