trashë
Albanian
editEtymology
editFrom Proto-Albanian *trauša. Close to Lithuanian trąšùs (“fat, fertile (soil)”) (cf. Albanian trashi (“fertile soil”)). May reflect ultimate origin in Proto-Indo-European *treu- (“to destroy”), but this is not certain.[1]
