Currently owned by Jim Stallman, every Imagination Playground Block is handcrafted in Providence, Rhode Island. Over the past decade, Imagination Playground has grown to have a strong presence in the worldwide loose-part play community. As of 2022, the award-winning Blue Blocks are found in over sixty countries with millions of children learning daily through stacking, creating, and building with the life-size blocks.

Today, Imagination Playground has grown and expanded their foam, loose-part play options to now offer smaller sets more suitable for residential homes or smaller spaces, as well as their new [https://shop.imaginationplayground.com/collections/loose-part-bones Loose-Part Bone Sets]. The Blue Blocks and Bones are all made of a proprietary, closed-cell foam that allows the parts to be lightweight, durable, and waterproof! Imagination Playground at Burling Slip is a playground on John Street near the South Street Seaport in New York City along South Street. The playground was designed by David Rockwell of Rockwell Group. It opened to the public on July 28, 2010.[1]
