Emmett Brown (born August 18, 2003)[1] is an American football quarterback for the San Jose State Spartans. He previously played for the Washington State Cougars.
Early life and high school
[edit]Brown attended San Marcos High School located in San Marcos, California. Coming out of high school, Brown decided to join the Washington State Cougars to play college football as a preferred walk-on.[2][3]
College career

[edit]In Brown's first collegiate season in 2022, he would use the season to redshirt and did not appear in any games.[4] During the 2023 season, Brown played in just one game completing two of his four passes for 14 yards and an interception.[5] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Brown decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[6][7]
San Jose State
[edit]Brown decided to transfer to play for the San Jose State Spartans.[8][9] Brown opened the 2024 season as the team's starter where in week one, he 20 of his 34 pass attempts for 298 yards and three touchdowns in a win.[10] In week two, Brown completed 17 of his 32 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns, as he helped San Jose State to a win over Air Force.[11]
