I have a lot of Kannapolis pictures on my hd, mostly from 1950-present day. Also have 8mega pixel photographs from the implosion on 3-24. I'm not sure how to get them to you or the article. Maybe I can assist you with the Cannon Mills article. Also just started the James William Cannon article...

You wrote the following at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/North Carolina Research Campus:

:Non-notable is your opinion, from your obscured view through the ether. This is the largest event in the history of my city. If your life were here, and you were standing here, this would not be a question.

Kannapolis and Cannon Manufacturing Company
You're assuming that I share your opinion of local notability being the same as encyclopedic notability. I would never write an article about some business complex construction in Stockholm unless it was super-notable and neither would I vote to keep one. I don't consider merely locally important events or terms to be either relevant or appropriate for Wikipedia. Don't hesitate to put my convictions to the test if you ever come across an article about mall constructions (or whatever) in Stockholm.

Are you going to write the article on Cannon Mills and its successors?

Removal of A7 speedy template from article
I have just started the stub for the Cannon Mills Corporation article. Feel free to add as you see fit.
Please do not remove speedy deletion flags from articles. If you do not beleive the article qualifies for A7 then add the hangon template instead and discuss on the talk page. Thanks. — orioneight (talk) 02:28, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

:Hey there, I don't know who deleted the article at Mike Caracciola, but it shouldn't have been deleted right away, since you added the hangon template. I'd say recreate the article but this time make it a stub that doesn't qualify for speedy deletion. — orioneight (talk) 02:53, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Bradspry. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (:Image:ColorLogo low res.gif) was found at the following location: User:Bradspry. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. ==Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mcbcolor03-100.jpg==
Thanks for uploading :Image:Mcbcolor03-100.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page.
Thanks for uploading :Image:Ncrccentralcampus.png. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

# Go to the media description page and edit it to add di-replaceable fair use disputed, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
# On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on [ this link]. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Ncrccentralcampus.png.

 1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add , without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
 2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 12:00, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ncrccentralcampus.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ncrccentralcampus.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 11:04, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
