Abe joined [[Nintendo]] Co., Ltd., [[Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development|EAD]] after a successful tenure at [[Namco]] Ltd. He is currently working with Nintendo Software Technology Corporation.

He is the creator of many titles including [[Knukle Heads]], [[Tekken]], [[Tekken 2]], [[Tekken 3]] (up to the [[arcade game]] version), [[Alpine Racer]], [[Alpine Racer 2]] and [[Alpine Surfer]] while at Namco. Since joining Nintendo he has helped develop titles such as [[1080° Snowboarding]], [[Pikmin]] and [[Pikmin 2]].

Abe was temporarily transferred to Nintendo Software Technology Corporation in U.S. to aid in the development of [[Metroid Prime Hunters]].
