In 2016, Serhii Poznanskyi returned to the complex, somewhat lost technique of ambrotype and created a unique result, each individual ambrotype is created in an exciting step-by-step process by hand, which adds even more value to it. The technique of painting with light using reagents on a glass plate is unique and often unexpected, so it excludes any possibility.

Serhii Poznanskyi is currently working on improving the author's technique, which uses transfer paper, watercolor paper and gold leaf. He continues to be an active participant in photo exhibitions and film festivals and presents his works at them.

Serhiy's artworks are in many private collections around the world. They are also stored in the Central State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art of Ukraine.[5]
