== Question from PcKernel (08:53, 3 February 2024) == |
|||
Hey Edmund - I have never edited anything on Wikipedia, but I noticed a small change that should probably be made to a page. If I make an edit request, how can I tell if it went through? I hit a button that said 'publish' but I'm thinking it likely did not go through since I didn't add a new topic and I don't see it on the talk page. But if it is an unintuitive process or I don't know where to look, I don't want to post the same request twice. Thank you for your time! --PcKernel (talk) 08:53, 3 February 2024 (UTC) |
Revision as of 08:53, 3 February 2024
- I will answer questions on the same page as asked, so that the dialogue remains in one piece. This means that I'll observe, or if you prefer, watch your talk page after posting there. If you post here, please do the same.Thanks.
I edit this page of The Signpost, once I have read it. I also agree to multi-license all my contributions with the exception of my user pages.
Those four tildes ( ~~~~ ) they most certainly are not the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. - honest!

Question from DexterTSL (19:33, 2 May 2023)
Hi! How can I add business on Wikipedia? --DexterTSL (talk) 19:33, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- @DexterTSL, Can I ask are you going to create an article about a business which has no existing one. If so it is important that the article must be well and independently referenced. If you are involved in the business in real-life I highly recommend that you check the process that will assist you in writing an independent clear informative article that will not raise concerns about neutrality. I will also research some more. Edmund Patrick – confer 06:02, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- I recommend having a look through Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations to see if it answers any of your questions Edmund Patrick – confer 06:55, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

im the owner of what is held at the relic --MONIQUEDIAZZONEBASE (talk) 05:42, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
- MONIQUEDIAZZONEBASE, I believe that English is not your first language so asking questions might be difficult but I am sure we can sort a way. For example what are you talking about saying I am the owner of what is held at the relic? What relic and what help do you need. Edmund Patrick – confer 07:02, 5 June 2023 (UTC)

Question from WikiDwarf (01:33, 27 July 2023)
Hello I just recently created an account on Wikipedia and I created an article which I think it seems notable neither I don't know that it has been deleted multiple times due to Sockpuppet which I don't know and my created article got deleted and I have been accused of Sockpuppet with some blocked accounts which I don't even knew them. --WikiDwarf (talk) 01:33, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, @WikiDwarf although one of the editors is fairly new on wikipedia they have asked for you to be investigated for sockpuppetry, a process which is quite thorough and any results clearly shown. I recommend that you say what you wish and disprove any concerns others may have in the investigation and then await for the outcome. I have pinged @User:Fancy Refrigerator as a matter of courtsey. Question from JanPampoen on Northern Cape Department of Social Development (16:45, 14 August 2023)
Hello, how must I go about to load the correct logo? --JanPampoen (talk) 16:45, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- I have checked the article and it seems to have a logo but if this is incorrect start a new section on the article at the talk page. Press the start a discussion link and say what you think or know is wrong and another editor will help you. I have added the article to my watchlist. Hope this helps.
