After moving to the new Tatenhill Stadium, Burton Rugby Club were keen to create a cutting-edge stadium. They employed local company, SMART Balustrades, to create a seamless balustrade systems to provide safety and elevate viewing experience across the seating areas, terraces and stairs.

SMART Balustrades unveiled an innovative solution characterised by 60×30 stainless steel posts, complemented by 48mm diameter stainless steel handrails, and fortified with 10mm thick clear toughened glass panels. This meticulously crafted design not only satisfied the stringent 3.0kN/m loading requirement but also preserved an open and visually appealing balustrade system, guaranteeing unobstructed view for all spectators.

This balustrade system is still in place at the stadium today.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Burton Rugby Club Case Study |url=https://smartbalustrades.co.uk/case-study-burton-rugby-club/ |website=SMART Balustrades}}</ref>
