After moving to the new Tatenhill Stadium, Burton Rugby Club were keen to create a cutting-edge stadium. They employed local company, SMART Balustrades, to create a seamless balustrade systems to provide safety and elevate viewing experience across the seating areas, terraces and stairs. |

SMART Balustrades unveiled an innovative solution characterised by 60×30 stainless steel posts, complemented by 48mm diameter stainless steel handrails, and fortified with 10mm thick clear toughened glass panels. This meticulously crafted design not only satisfied the stringent 3.0kN/m loading requirement but also preserved an open and visually appealing balustrade system, guaranteeing unobstructed view for all spectators. |

Burton Rugby Club is an English rugby union team based in Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire. The club operates six senior teams, including an under-22s team, academy sides and a full range of junior teams. The first XV currently plays in the Regional 1 Midlands following their promotion as champions of Midlands 1 West at the end of the 2017–18 season.
History
Burton Rugby Club was formed on 5 October 1870 as Burton Football Club, retaining that name until the word 'rugby' was added in 2001. The club played at Peel Croft, from 1910 until it moved to a new ground at Tatenhill in 2020.[1]
