Jonas Aidoo is a college basketball power forward for the Tennessee Volunteers.
Early life and high school
Aidoo attended high school at Durham Voyager Academy. In his senior season, Aidoo averaged eleven points, six rebounds, and three blocks.[1] Coming out of high school, Aidoo was rated as a four star recruit, the 7th overall center, and the top player in the state of North Carolina in the 2021 class.[2] Aidoo also held offers from school such as Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Clemson, Kansas, Tennessee, Marquette, West Virginia, and Witchia State.[3] Aidoo ultimately committed to play college basketball for the Marquette Golden Eagles.[4][5] However, Aidoo decided to de-commit from Marquette after they hired new head coach Shaka Smart.[6][7] Aidoo decided to flip his commitment to play for the Tennessee.[8][9]
