Rhyuhn Green (born 2006) is an American composer and pianist. He is the recipient of the 2024 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation[1][2][3][4][5], Philadelphia Ballet Fellowship, and the Philadelphia All-City Festival's Special-Recognition Award. He is a Scholar with the Marian Anderson Young Artists Program in Philadelphia[6][7] and has appeared on an episode of NPR's From the Top. [1]

Music

Green's compositions have been performed by ensembles including the members of the Philadelphia Ballet orchestra, trombonist Dave Taylor, the Manhattan Brass Quintet, the Abington Symphony, the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts Orchestra and pianists Liam Drake [8] and Kim Barroso. [7][9] As a concert pianist, Green made his Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall at age 12 as a winner of the Crescendo International Competition. [10]
