Early life, education and academic career
Renzo Angles was born in Arequipa, Peru. He completed his Bachelor in Systems Engineering at Universidad Católica de Santa María in Arequipa at the end of 2000. Angles moved to Santiago de Chile in July 2002 to pursue postgraduate education. In August 2009, Renzo Angles earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universidad de Chile. Concurrently, he holds a full-time professorship at Universidad de Talca in Chile.[1]
During 2013, Angles conducted postdoctoral research at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands.[1][2]
Current roles and research interests
Renzo Angles is currently an associate professor in the Computer Science Department at Universidad de Talca. He also serves as the Director of the Doctoral Program in Systems Engineering at the same institution.
His research interests are centered on the intersection of graph databases and the Semantic Web. His work primarily focuses on:
